Scope and Contents

This folder contains research compiled by Dan K. Utley on the C. A. D. Clamp Buildings at 707-709 S. Main Street, including: an invitation and program for "A Celebration of the Life and Times and Works of Christian Augustus Daniel Clamp"on December 28, 1990; photocopies of several newspaper articles and clippings (might be pages of an old scrapbook); Texas Historic Sites Inventory Form and data sheet on Georgetown Buildings for the National Register Survey of 1976; inventory sheets compiled by Carol Kennedy in 1982 on the Williamson County Sun Buildings; history on the Williamson County sun Buildings written by Clara Stearns Scarbrough; copy of manuscript (author and date unknown) about the history of The First Presbyterian Church of Georgetown; handwritten notes; renovation manual with a list of major contractors, builders and lumber companies in Georgetown; photocopies of letters from Clamp to Vara McMurray; brochure for the First Presbyterian Church of Georgetown; and the text proposal for the Official Texas Historical Marker.
