"We are living through a pandemic that is changing every aspect of our lives, including our cooking and eating habits. This cookbook is a tribute to a time when New Jersey was going through the (hopefully) worst of it and food was in short supply. Gone were the days of lavish meals and making something out of nothing was a necessity. These dishes reflect that - Carne Bif made with a can of Corned Beef, Pepperoni for breakfast and turning a lowly potato into a superstar side dish worthy of any 5-Star restaurant are all included along with 16 more banger recipes. Complete with a full color cover printed on heavier stock paper, proper margins and someone other than me proofreading it are all reasons why I am very proud of this zine".
