Scope and Contents
The souvenir book titled “Souvenir de Paris” is located in back of box 1 of Hankla Collection. It contains 12 leporello black and white photographs of landmarks in Paris, France cabinet cards. Based on research, it is meant to have 20 photographs and should be in leporello format. This book is from the publisher Rommler & Jonas in Dresden (founded in 1871), Germany and from approximately 1870 to 1900, as suggested by the format of the photographs (cabinet-cards) and rounded corners of each card.
