Mounted photo of bone (faded to pale violet) with 8 x 10 B and W copy, negative located in box 23.1 Photograph Archives, General Subjects, 'Negatives'; Letter from photograph donor Parx O. Hays stating that the picture was taken by Dr. Hyer in 1899 and was one of the first x-ray photographs ever taken. Memo from Dr. Score to Miss Brandon to place the photograph in the vault with a book, Poems by Oliver Wendell Homes, donated by Dr. Pat Ireland Nixon. (book inscribed: To the Soule University of Texas from Oliver Wendell Homes, June 25, 1867)
